paint the town green is a weeklong campaign that celebrates the power of mentorship.

Designed to raise awareness—not funds—PTTG highlights the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters and the life-changing impact mentoring has on youth. By participating, you’ll help spark conversations, inspire others to become Bigs, and show that each of us has a role to play in creating BIGGER futures.

  1. WHAT – This is NOT a fundraiser. Paint the Town Green with us and spread the message and mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. By using green in your business or organization during the week of September 14–20, 2025, you can help Flint & Genesee County know that mentoring matters.
  2. WHY – To inspire more individuals to step up as mentors in the community and help make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.
  3. HOW – It’s simple. Use green any way you’d like to bring awareness to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint and Genesee County and highlight our mission to empower children in our community. No fundraising required.
