51st Golf Fore Kids Sake

Description: Join us for our annual Golf Fore Kid’s Sake proudly presented by Brown & Sons Auto Parts at the prestigious Warwick Hills Country Club. This special event supports Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission of creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Enjoy golf games, competitions, a silent auction, and a drawing for The BIG Raffle. The event will feature an AM flight with a 9:00 am shotgun start, and a light breakfast will be provided. A reception will follow the event announcing contest hole winners, top men/women/co-ed teams, and the drawing of The Big Raffle.

47th Gary Haggart Bowl for Kids' Sake

Date: February 19 - 22, 2026

Description: The Gary Haggart Bowl for Kids’ Sake, presented by the Arby's Foundation, is our largest annual fundraiser. This event welcomes participants of all ages and bowling abilities to support the mentoring needs of children in our community. Contributions from corporate sponsors and participant pledges provide Big Brothers Big Sisters with essential funding for services and programs. 20th Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Inspiration Breakfast

Tickets: $25 (Registrations received before 1.5.2026 only $20)

To commemorate the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and National Mentoring Awareness Month, this 20th annual event embraces the theme Mission Possible: A Call to Serve, A Call to Unite, inspiring community members to incorporate mentoring into their lives by volunteering to support a youth from Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The program features Mr. James Avery as our Master of Ceremony and a keynote address from Retired Lt. Colonel Derrick Britton, whose message will honor Dr. King’s legacy of service, unity, and leadership. Guests will enjoy a breakfast catered by Chef Ja’Colby Bratcher of Annie Mae on Wheels Cookin’, bringing soulful, community-rooted flavors to the morning. Chef Bratcher is also a Little Brother Alumnae.

This 20-year milestone celebration continues our tradition of motivating the community to stand together, take action, and help create brighter futures for Flint & Genesee County youth.

Annual Holiday Party

Join us as we celebrate the winter season with Bigs, Littles, and their families at our annual Holiday Party at the Dort Financial Center! This festive evening brings together youth, families, and matches for a night filled with crafts, games, gifts, and refreshments. The annual Flint Motorcycle Club Ice Races to immediately follow. 65th Flint Motorcycle Club Indoor Ice Races

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 7:00pm (doors open @ 6pm)
Location: Dort Financial Center, 3501 Lapeer Road 48503

For 65 years, this event has showcased the community’s commitment to both adrenaline and impact, pairing the excitement of ice racing with a mission to empower children across Genesee County. More than 2,000 spectators are expected to fill the arena as amateur and professional riders compete for prize money across multiple divisions. Tickets available: $25 adults; $10 youth (12 & under).

This year’s festivities kicked off with a high-energy launch party on Thursday, December 4, at Scooters Bar & Grill, featuring a lively auction and pre-race celebrations.

Big Celebration

Date: Friday, November 7, 2025

Location: Factory One, 303 Water Street, Flint, MI 48503

Description: To power a car, it takes many moving parts. The same is true for mentorship, which is why Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint & Genesee County (BBBS) will highlight 'Mentorship in Motion' at the 2025 Big Celebration, presented by Big John Steak & Onion. The event, taking place on November 7th at Factory One in Flint, will recognize the combined efforts of Bigs, Littles, volunteers, community partners and sponsors, as well as BBBS staff and board members. This collective work is essential in creating and sustaining the life-changing, one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower local youth. The program will feature dinner, a cash bar, and live band, with the highlight of the evening being a special ceremony to honor BBBS’ 2024 Community Service Honorees, Years of Service Recipients, and Bigs of the Year.
